Hi Alan. Been a huge fan of the aeropress. its my forth now. Got a question about the plunger seal. Half of my aeropress are pre 2018 (before silicone was used) and the other 2 are silicone based (I think as 1 is an aeropress go and the other has red lettering). Apart from being stickiness the thermoplaster elastomer can develop over time if the press is sitting idol, what drove you to change to silicone? was that only because of the stickiness or was there a difference in flavor of the brew.
